Economy was founded in 1934 and has been at our current Germantown (PA) location since 1946. Our distribution was relocated to our current 35,000 sf. facility in 1997.

Our territory includes primarily Philadelphia , Montgomery , Bucks and Delaware counties in Pennsylvania and Burlington and Camden counties in New Jersey ; however, we service customers via our trucks throughout the entire Pennsylvania and New Jersey regions. Although we are a regional wholesale distributor, we ship product and service customers worldwide.

ECONOMY CAN SHIP ANYWHERE, many of our customers are outside of the tri-state area. Some of our customers are out of this country as well. Economy advertises in the Mariners' Annual and can provide bid and specification services for shipment anyway. Give us a shot, we will earn your business.

Economy's employees take pride in their customers and products. We are available to get you product when you need it. Our Bensalem store is open Saturdays from 8 AM to 12 Noon. Our Germantown store is generally available on Saturday's for emergency pick-ups. We are available 24 hours per day via the Nextel Radios and pagers.

Economy is a member of the American Supply Association (ASA), SHIMS Wholesaler Association (SWA), and Quaker Tri-State Wholesalers Association.

We have three branches to serve you, a 50,000 square foot warehouse in the Germantown section of Philadelphia , a 40,000 square foot distribution center just minutes from I-95 in Bensalem, and a 28,000 square foot warehouse in Turnersville , NJ , just 1/2 mile from the intersection of the Atlantic City Expressway and Route 42.
